FOR MORE ON BRISTOL GO HERE

BRISTOL has its own airport (Lulsgate) from which both shuttle buses and taxis run to the city centre. Shuttle bus tickets can be bought as singles on the courtesy coach outside the airport building (currently around £4) or as open returns. If you alight at the TEMPLE MEADS STATION, it is a short 500 metre walk to the hotel. Bristol is also well served by train (the aforementioned Temple Meads station), from which you can walk the 500 yards or get a taxi to the hotel. There is a modest charge for staying in the hotel car park, but it's free to people using the hotel.

Bristol is a good base for anyone wanting to explore the South West - Bath (Roman and Georgian splendours), Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury, Gloucester, South Wales, the Cotswolds, Dartmoor and Exmoor are all within reasonable distance. Not to mention the city of Bristol itself.
